Hugo Lamdin
I trained at Rycotewood Furniture College and have ten years experience working with some of the region's top cabinet makers. Now, based in an old dairy in rural Oxfordshire, I create bespoke, contemporary furniture using a combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern techniques.
The Hugo Lamdin Furniture workshop is situated in a traditional dairy, which is now fitted out with the latest equipment to allow the melding of traditional quality with contemporary sharp design.
While I create my pieces in this modern environment, I like to visit homes or buildings where the pieces will live, to understand the surroundings and get a real feel for the individual tastes of my clients and for what will fit in the space.
I strongly believe that the most sustainable way of life is to make things that will last a lifetime.
