My fine handmade furniture is designed & created from a palette of style & tone, enhancing beautiful woods with elegant details. Clients may select from Gallery Exhibition pieces or involve themselves in the process, creating bespoke furniture of their choice. From an occasional table, or chair, to a unique cabinet, my portfolio continues to develop with each commission.
My designs are to be found in settings from individual houses and boardrooms to stately homes. Following studies at Rycotewood College, I gained invaluable experience honing my skills with Alan Peters & Martin Grierson.
Setting up my workshop in 1989 in Great Wolford, on the Warwickshire / Oxfordshire border, I follow my ongoing desire to create individual designs, developing and adapting to each commission. My elegant furniture blends traditional and contemporary techniques to superb effect. Set off with exquisite joint detailing, feature recessed handles and polished to a superb finish, each piece exudes craftsmanship, complementing the setting beautifully. Flowing curves are the key signature of my contemporary bespoke furniture, skilfully handcrafted in a wide range of refined hardwoods.
I have received four prestigious Guild Marks from the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers, for quality in design & craftsmanship.
