Peter Toaig
Contemporary geometric designs making use of locally sourced small diameter hardwood trees. This is beneficial to the environment and provides beautiful and strikingly unusual wood.
Peter was co-organiser of the onetree project - http://www.onetree.org.uk - which involved 75 artists and makers creating a large touring exhibition of work made from a single native oak. He is currently secretary of the Scottish Furniture Makers Association and helps to organise an annual exhibition of Scottish furniture at the Edinburgh Festival each August.
