Toby Winteringham
Toby Winteringham is an established contemporary designer maker, producing furniture for domestic and office use and public spaces.
Work includes all types of furniture as well as accessories, such as mirrors. Some pieces include bold and distinctive marquetry.
Toby's work is featured on the Crafts Council Photostore index of selected makers. He is a Fellow of the Society of Designer Craftsmen; Chairman of the Norfolk Furniture Makers Association; member of the Suffollk Crafts Society; and Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers. He has been awarded two Guild Mark Certificates for furniture.
His work can be seen at several galleries and exhibitions throughout the year.
Since 2005 he has been a judge at the National Craft Compteition for the Royal Dublin Society and is currently serving on the 'Guild Mark for Bespoke Furniture' Committee for the WCFM. He is a visiting tutor at the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship in Rockport, Maine, USA. He has also demonstrated at Art in Action, near Oxford, and teaches at West Dean College in Sussex.
Clients include: Corporation of London; The Barbican; several Borough and District Councils; designers and private individuals.
